No Trip To The Allotment...

...the weather's too bad. Thunder storms here tonight with short power cuts. It doesn't stop the dog walks though...

...much to Archie's disgust.

He doesn't like this weather at all, and who can blame him?

  2. Neither does Tivvy she'd cross her legs for hours rather than so out in the rain. Archie is a little sweetheart.

    1. Archie doesn't like the rain, but he's petrified of the thunder, it took him all his time to eat his tea tonight because he could hear it. He's such a softie.

  4. Hey.....had to st op by and say hi to this little"Cavi". We have two of them and our hates storms also. The older one Sophie is now deaf so they don't bother her now but when she was a puppy she was terrified. Little boy dog just growls and growls at the lightening...he thinks he is so "macho". LOL

    1. Awww, bless little boy dog, they're so funny sometimes. Archie's such a softie, he's so frightened of any noises so thunder storms are just awful for him. He won't want to go out for his last walk tonight, but he'll have to.

  5. Honestly, he is the cutest doggie. Makes me want to enter the world of dog ownership. I hope the weather eases up, although I hear that Sunday might be a bit dicey. Have a good weekend anyway, CJ xx

    1. I've never regretted getting Archie for one minute, he's such a gorgeous little doggy. It's a little windy here today but at least the rain's stopped.

    1. I think the cats have got the right idea, it wasn't the night to be venturing out.

  11. Archie is beautiful.....such a lovely Cavalier.
He reminds me of one of the Cavaliers that I had many years ago.
I have owned many of the breed and there wasn't one of them that liked going out in the rain :)
Lets hope the tail end of hurricane Bertha avoids UK.....Archie definitely won't like that...........

    1. We have to pick Archie up sometimes to get him out the door when it's raining, he's so soft and doesn't like to get wet. Archie definitely wouldn't like hurricane Bertha, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it misses us.

  12. Oh Archie's lovely ears look rather bedraggled. Hope that he soon dried out. The thunder/rain etc. though forecast here never materialised and I had put off going to the allotment in case it did. Grrrrrrrr .....

    1. He looks like a scruffy little dog when he's wet and it does take some time for him to dry out. Glad the rain and thunder missed you, but it's a shame you missed out on your allotment visit. Better to be safe than sorry though, I'm fed up with the number of times I've been caught in the rain down there.

    1. He's such a softie. If he hears a bang while we're out walking he pulls on his lead to go home. He looks totally miserable when he's wet.

I can understand the passing on the lottie when the weather is like that.
