Magpies - apart from their colouring, one of the least appealing of all British birds, I think! They are so noisy and agressive. They also carry out wilful vandalism. I often see them sitting in my trees deliberately breaking off twigs and throwing them to the ground. It's not as if they want the twigs for nest-building either...
