This year, I dedicated one post each month to Blog Of The Month. This is where I featured a blog I was enjoying reading. Some of the blogs I featured were new to me, others were ones I'd been reading for a while. I hoped that by doing this, I might introduce some of my readers to other, interesting blogs, though I know that many of you already read the blogs I featured.
I thought I'd list the blogs I featured each month in case any of you missed the original posts. They're all definitely worth a read.
January - A Whole Plot of Love
February - Annie's Little Plot
March - Gardens and Wildlife
April - A Rich Tapestry
May - Dig The Outside
June - Rusty Duck
July - Above The River
August - An Urban Veg Patch
September - Living On The Edge
October - The Urban Cottage
November - Grow My Own Eden
December - A Gardener's Weather Diary
If you haven't yet visited any of the blogs I've mentioned, I can highly recommend them. Do pay them a visit, and don't forget to tell them that I sent you.
I should just mention that the photo which accompanies this post has nothing to do with my Blogs Of The Month. I snapped these daisies yesterday at Temple Newsam, the grass there is covered in them.

All good posts about good blogs. Flighty xx
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased you enjoyed them over the year. I know there were many which you already read, but I hope you found a couple which you hadn't already come across.
DeleteThank you for doing this, I've really enjoyed visiting all these over the year, and finding some lovely new ones to follow from it, (and thanks for featuring mine too!>
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I'm pleased you've found some new blogs from my feature, that was the intention.
DeleteI'm on the lookout for more blogs to visit this year. I have some on a short list as I don't add any to my bloglist until I know that i want to visit regularly. I think I have most of your list on my bloglist but I'll check.
ReplyDeleteI'm having trouble keeping up with all the blogs I follow already, but it's always nice to find new blogs which are interesting.
DeleteI very much enjoyed being January's. You also introduced me to some new blogs.
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased you've found some new blogs to read, as well as, hopefully, having some new followers after you were featured.
DeleteI didn't visit all of them, so thanks for the list, Jo. Wishing you a Happy New Year! P. x
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll have chance to visit the blogs I featured this time around. Thank you, and I wish you a Happy New Year too.
DeleteThanks for the link Jo. I've enjoyed finding other new blogs through your choices too.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I hope you've had some new visitors after you were featured, and I'm pleased to hear that you found some new blogs to read too.
DeleteThanks for the recap Jo :) I think that there may be one or two that I intended to visit but maybe did not get round to it so must check. I did some similar posts a couple of years ago but with not such admirable consistency as you. Must try again as its such an excellent way of supporting other bloggers especially newcomers.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great way to find new blogs to read. I hope that the blogs I featured have had some new visitors since I mentioned them here, it's sometimes hard to get going if you've got a new blog.
DeleteThank you for mentioning me Jo, it's very much appreciated. I love the daisy picture, it honestly looks like summer! I hope you have a really wonderful and happy year in 2014.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. You would think the daisy photo was taken in summer, we've only had a few frosts here so far and we had some sunshine on Saturday, though it was very cold in the shade. Thank you, sending very best wishes for 2014 to you and yours too.
DeleteThank you to recommend so many interesting blog. I've visited some of the blogs on your list regularly. As a follower, commentator or silent reader
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found the list helpful. I'm always on the lookout for new blogs to read and it's good to have recommendations.
DeleteThanks SO much for having me as one of your blogs of the month. I was MOST honoured. I have found new blogs because of this too.How lovely to actually see daisies in bloom. I have noticed buds popping out everywhere, I do hope we don't get a long cold spring again. xxx
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I hope you had some new visitors after I featured your blog, and I'm pleased that you found some new blogs to visit too. There were loads of daisies at Temple Newsam, though we haven't had many frosts here yet. I think it's getting harder to predict what weather we're going to get, though the next few days don't look particularly good.
