-
This is my eleventh post of this kind. For eleven years now, my friend Lisa
and I have been swapping twelve small gifts at Christmas, one to be opened
on...

I'm sure the winners will love them. We're hooked
ReplyDeleteThey're without doubt the best cucumbers I've grown, they're both prolific and tasty.
DeleteHi Jo, I am trying to get up on my blogs and my blog writing but you have so many comments that I figured I would write on the individual posts. Looks like I missed a couple of good give-aways but that's the price you pay for absence!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like despite it all you have done well for harvest this year and I was most impressed with your peaches. Shame about the split and them not being overly juicy...are you just going to keep them inside next summer??
Well I am hoping that this is the start of a new me and I won't have to go back reading a couple of months worth of posts next time!!
Oh and I lobe your shiny new incinerator....I remember mine once looking like that!! lol
Nice to see you back. It's been a good year all told, there's been a few disappointments but on the whole I've had some decent harvests. I'm hoping that my peaches do better next year. I think I'm going to keep the tree in the greenhouse the year round and see if it helps. It's only a tiny tree so it won't take up much space. The incinerator's very shiny at the moment, I doubt it will stay like that for long.
DeleteThanks. I look forward to growing, and eating, some of these next year. Flighty xx
ReplyDeleteThank you for the email, I shall get the seeds in the post for you. I hope they do well for you and that you enjoy growing and eating them as much as I do.
DeleteFantastic. Thanks for the seeds - I have never won a give-away before!!
ReplyDeleteYour luck must be changing. I hope you enjoy growing the Mini Munch cucumbers, they're a firm favourite here now.
DeleteI'm tempted to buy them now I dint enter! Congrats to Gillian & Mike.
ReplyDeleteI can certainly recommend them. I've grown them twice now and they were just as good this year as they were last.
DeleteMany congratulations to the winners. I've had a lapse of willpower yesterday when I some cucumber seed in Wilkos with 75% off the price. All the seeds were on sale along with other gardening products. I know I said that I wasn't sure whether I would sow any next year but .... :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to resist when temptation rears its head, isn't it? I was in Wilkos at the weekend but I didn't see a sale on their gardening things, I'll have to look again when I'm next in.
DeleteI know they will both be as thrilled with them as I am.xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased that you enjoyed growing them too, and that they did well for you. I think this variety will stay on my must grow list.
DeleteWell done Gillian and Flighty, I shall look forward to hearing how you get on with them.
ReplyDeleteIt will be good to compare notes next year and see how they all do.
DeleteCongratulations to the lucky winners! It was a good year for cucumbers here and I just made several pints of freezer pickles. P. x
ReplyDeleteWe've had a good year for cucumbers too, in fact, all my cucurbits have done well this year.
DeleteCongratulations Gillian and Flighty. xx
ReplyDeleteI hope they grow well for them.
DeleteCongrats Gillian and Flighty.. I might give these a go myself next year :o)
ReplyDeleteI've grown them twice now and they've been really good both times. They're definitely on my list again for next year.
