That's right, I'm giving away a whole year, in the form of a RHS desk diary. It has one week to view on one page, and an illustration on the facing page.
The diary showcases the work of eight women artists, some were professional artists who illustrated books and magazines, some kept their work, which was later donated to the RHS, private.
It's a beautiful diary, but as I've gone back to using a Filofax, it wouldn't get used, which would be a shame.
If you could make use of the diary, and would like to give it a home, please leave a comment on this post before next Monday, Christmas Eve. I shall pick a name at random and get the diary in the post straight after Christmas so that it will arrive in time for the new year.

Looks lovely Jo but I'm not sure that I would use it either!
ReplyDeleteA lovely give away Jo although I do not want to be entered. Just interested to know why you have reverted back to using a Filofax rather than a diary. Have been contemplating using a Filofax but still not sure :)
ReplyDeleteI find that a Filofax is very versatile. Things can easily be added or taken away at will. It serves my needs to have lots of information in one place. I'm actually using two filofaxes, one A5 size which is my household planner and a pocket size which I carry with me. I did a post about my Filofaxes on my Through The Keyhole blog:- http://www.jo-throughthekeyhole.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/diary-love.html
DeleteIf you're thinking of using a Filofax, I would recommend this site:- http://philofaxy.blogspot.co.uk/
Have a look at the Web Finds posts, where people have posted on their blogs about their Filofaxes. Some of the posts give you some good ideas about how their's have been set up, and may help you to decide if a Filofax is for you. Hope this helps.
Can I be the first one to say I would love to win please. I'm a greedy old trout. I need a diary & that is a rather lovely looking one. I don't like using my Filofax & it would brighten up my work desk & help me plan my gardening efforts next year, god knows I need to.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteCould you enter me please? I have yet to buy a diary and I also don't use a filofax (they remind me too much of when I used to be in paid work!).
Donna
That's very generous of you. I've already got a plot diary for next year so there's no need to enter me in the draw either. Flighty xx
ReplyDeleteJo, How lovely of you to offer this gift. It is so important to record our gardening events, but I'm not too good at it. This year H.H. bought me a gardener's diary, but not as pretty as yours. Have a very Happy Christmas! P. x
ReplyDeleteThat looks a lovely gift. Please do not enter me, as I have just won something similar on another site. I am sure whoever gets it will be thrilled x
ReplyDeleteHow lovely of you to offer this beautiful dairy. I would be so excited to win it!
ReplyDeleteI tried a Filofax last year but we didn't get on - I much prefer a straightforward diary.
Loving your blog, especially as you write regularly. ;)
A lovely diary.
ReplyDeleteI live my life in my diary, forward plan and then write about each and every day so useful. I used to have a Filofax when I worked (I managed a couple of shops and then ran my own) and found in invaluable. So many inserts, heaven for a stationery-aholic like me!!
Sue xx
That's very kind Jo. I've had RHS diaries before and they are beautiful. I love the botanical prints they use. I'm getting a diary as a Christmas present this year though so won't be entering.
ReplyDeleteI would absolutely adore that lovely diary. Please can I enter! Thanks so much : )
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteJulie
What a pretty diary. I always love RHS books so I bet the diary is just as nice. I'd like to enter. Thanks, Kelli.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a lovely diary Jo but I have to admit to not using either a diary or a Filofax of any sort. I tend to just write everything on the calendar these days as it is easy for all to see so don't enter me in the competition but I wanted to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas anyway. xx
