I can't wait.

Cherries are so expensive to buy, Bluebell. The one I tried from my tree two years ago was delicious, I should be able to give you more of an idea this year though, there's quite a few on the tree and they're ripening nicely. Thanks again for the award.

It's extremely exciting, Martin. Not only the tomatoes but everything else which is coming on leaps and bounds.

I grew San Marzano for the first time last year, Mark, and it was in the greenhouse. I was very impressed with them though so if anything happened to my greenhouse I would certainly give them a try outdoors.

It seems we're at the same stage with lots of things, Sue. I suppose it's to be expected though with us living so close.

Thanks, Flighty. Hope you're tomatoes are coming on too.

My hubby won't eat fresh tomatoes either, Mo, but he eats tomato on pizza and happy to have it in bolognese, whereas my son won't touch a thing if it's got tomato in it.

My mum's just the same, Don't unplug your hub. She has to have salt with tomatoes. I can take it or leave it.

You're very organised, Paul. I can't wait till I start harvesting. Looks like a bad weather forcast for tomorrow again, hope it's better on Sunday.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8184901344095001216.post-32334330726183855922011-06-17T07:59:23.007+01:002011-06-17T07:59:23.007+01:00The weather put paid to our plot plans last weeken...The weather put paid to our plot plans last weekend too. Glad to hear you've got your toms out, have to admit we're about the harvest our first few but I have no idea quite how we ended up so organised on that front. ;)Paul and Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07700796090016266104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8184901344095001216.post-39486643303103788652011-06-16T10:19:21.834+01:002011-06-16T10:19:21.834+01:00I love fresh tomatoes. I try every year, my tastebuds know I will spit it out but my brain is convinced I should like them. It's only fresh tomatoes that have this effect :)
MoMohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05252983027018111307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8184901344095001216.post-22575107709009734062011-06-15T15:14:06.111+01:002011-06-15T15:14:06.111+01:00Looking and sounding good! Glad you are happy to have it.

I have got a few tomatoes on my moneymakers and like you I can't wait until they are ready to eat.

I'll be interested to see what your cherries taste like. I treated myself to a punnet in the supermarket today, they were very expensive and utterly disgusting. I am not doing that again!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8184901344095001216.post-28897772349547118632011-06-14T19:36:22.098+01:002011-06-14T19:36:22.098+01:00Ooh, the anticipation of the harvest - bring it on...Ooh, the anticipation of the harvest - bring it on!Suhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03104140914581346288noreply@blogger.com
